The Beauneveu Study Day will take place in the gallery on July 31st, 2018. It will begin with a private visit to Westminster Abbey to see Jean de Liège’s tomb of Philippa of Hainault in the Confessor Chapel. This will be followed by a study session at Sam Fogg, where we will be able to discuss and closely examine sculptures from the period, including the celebrated Beauneveu lions.
