In Conversation with Zoë Opačić Romanesque and Gothic Architecture (video content)
A discussion between Jana Gajdošová and Zoë Opačić (an architectural historian and a senior lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London) focuses on medieval architecture. It explores a variety of themes, such as the difference between Romanesque buildings and Gothic buildings, Saint-Denis and the birth of Gothic architecture, the status of medieval architects, the function of late Gothic spires, and the role of women as patrons.
